1. DEFINITIONS

In this notice:
Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person,
Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK): Law No. 6698, which entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette on April 7, 2016,
Data Processor: A natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller based on the authority granted,
Data Controller: The natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system.

Pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), www.babilenerji.com, as the Data Controller, informs you about the methods and legal grounds for collecting your personal data, our protection methods, examples of processed personal data, purposes of processing, transfer to third parties and/or abroad, and your rights under the Law.

3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be processed for fulfilling legal obligations in the planning, execution and reporting of our energy projects (biogas, biomethane, solar PV and consultancy), establishing or performing contractual relationships with our customers and business partners, complying with regulatory requirements and protecting our legitimate interests. In addition, with your explicit consent, it may also be used for promotional activities, event and project announcements, and for managing requests received via online forms.

4. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES AND/OR ABROAD

Your personal data may be shared, in line with Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK, with our business partners operating domestically and abroad, organizations from which we receive consultancy, IT service providers, financial institutions, legal advisors, and public authorities.

5. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data are processed,
Request information if your personal data have been processed,
Learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
Know the third parties to whom your data are transferred,
Request correction if your personal data are incomplete or inaccurate,
Request deletion or destruction when the reasons requiring processing cease to exist, even if processed lawfully,
Object to any result that is to your detriment arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of your personal data

However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
